Surrounded by the family he loved, Robert (Rob) Jones, 75 of Tulsa, passed away on Monday, October 16th, 2023.
Rob was born November 21, 1947, in Fairmont, West Virginia to Robert G and Florence (Lawson) Jones.
A graduate of Sapulpa High School (1965), Rob spent time at Oklahoma State, before proudly serving his country in Europe during Vietnam.
Rob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marsha Jones of Tulsa,
Daughter Amy Jones of Bixby, Son Brett and Daughter in law Nancy Jones of Bixby, Sister Susan Lawrence of Sapulpa, Sister Jeanie Smith of Edmond, in addition to multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family across the country.
The proudest Grandpa to walk the earth, Rob is survived by grandchildren Tristan and Cierra Jones, Kiegan, Finley and Steele Jones. Rob never missed a baseball, basketball or football game any of these kids were in.
If you didn’t find Rob on the golf course, he was watching any sporting activity of his beloved Oklahoma Sooners.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Alan Jones and Brother-in-law Larry Lawrence.
