Bristow Library Crowns Tea

The Bristow Public Library is happy to announce its first annual Crowns Tea. The all-ages event occurs Saturday, February 4th, From 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Bristow Public Library.
Based on the book Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats by Michael Cunningham, the event includes a presentation and open discussion from OKC-based Thick Descriptions. The event is funded by the Oklahoma Humanities Council. Refreshments will be served.
Hats, of any and all kinds, are strongly encouraged. Business-casual or formal attire is appreciated as well.
