Severe weather held off just long enough for folks to enjoy the lighting of the Tree of Hope and everything the Lights On! ceremony had to offer.
The cancellation comes just two weeks shy of the annual holiday tradition, which has stood the test of time for nearly a hundred years.

“The goal for LCC is to encourage future leadership among citizens of Creek County and educate them on education, government, and humanities,” said coordinator Suzanne Shirey.
While the floats were as exciting and full of kiddos as usual, there was one float that caused more excitement than any other—a ship.
Leewright stated this last session was “all about the budget” as he expressed his pleasure in the pieces of legislation passed. The Senator ran seventeen bills in the 56th Legislature, only one was vetoed by Governor Fallin.
