The Bristow Historical Society, Inc. has been awarded $10,912.37 for a project titled “History Speaks—Making our Oral History Collection More Accessible.” The organization will develop kiosks to be located in the museum featuring its unique collection of 80 oral histories.
The Society wants to renovate and preserve four different landmarks along route 66, not only for visitors but for future generations to enjoy and learn from.
A packed crowd showed up to Monday night’s Board of Education Meeting at the Chuck West Field House in Bristow as multiple parents spoke up about a growing concern for the material that the school reportedly has in its libraries.
